We are excited to have Jeff Culp (pictured above with the mighty Mississippi) joining the group this semester. Jeff will be setting up and running new experiments designed to test hypotheses related to the sorting of silt grain sizes by boundary currents (read more here). Jeff comes from Charlottesville, VA and is interested in all things pertaining to rivers. He completed his BS at James Madison University in May 2017 and started in on his MS at Virginia Tech August 2017.
