Stefanny Vanegas Moncayo and Jack Vasquez Witt both joined the group in January as new MS students. Stefanny earned her BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Cuenca in Ecuador before joining VT. Jack, also from Ecuador, received his BS in Civil Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University and worked for four years before starting his MS journey at VT. Both Stefanny and Jack will be working on a set of flume experiments that will investigate the physical controls on embeddedness of gravel.
