I had the chance to attend River Flow in St. Louis this past summer for the first time since 2002, when it was held at the Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium. It was good to catch up with colleagues and be exposed to new ideas. Hopefully we can make it again in 2018. Duc Tran and Mohamad Rouhnia both submitted papers on aspects of their recent work:
-
Tran, D., Kuprenas, R., and Strom, K. (2016). Clay flocculation in the presence of suspended silt: independent or dependent fractions? River Flow 2016. St. Louis, MO. July 12-16, 2016.
