Mohamad Rouhnia successfully defended is PhD dissertation this past August! The title of his work is: Vertical transport of sediment from muddy buoyant river plumes in the presence of different modes of interfacial instabilities. Congratulations to Mohamad on a hard earned and very well deserved PhD.
Mohamad started his PhD with the group when we were at the University of Houston. He worked on a number of projects from field work in the urban jungle waters of Buffalo Bayou to condition dependent sampling on the Brazos and Trinity rivers to laboratory work with flocs and ADVs… and, finally, his dissertation topic on stratified flows.
